Requirement:
· Excellent English ability both in oral and written. No barriers in communication with US headquarter colleagues and interpretation in the meeting.
· Good international business knowledge. Know specific export and import procedure.
· Well negotiation skill and know how to push the whole project.
· Frequent travel is required. Able to travel in Asia and the United States.
· Detail-oriented and good patience are required. Need to handle various details and follow up with different vendors.
· Good at computer skills. Need to use different excel tools to edit, manager price lists and other Excel files in order to maintain good numbers.
Job description:
· Identify and develop suppliers for Medline products.
· Help to fulfill the sample delivery and make relative records.
· Work with vendor to get a specific sample finish date and whole project schedule.
· Price calculation and negotiation.
· Follow up with vendors on sample status and push factories to an earlier finish date.
· Always try best to negotiate with vendor (price, exclusivity, term of payment, etc.) and always seal a better deal for Medline Industries, Inc.
· Edit and manage vendors price list by excel tools. Review various prices with purchasing manager and identify new project plans.
· Travel with US corporate colleague and manage the itinerary.
· Interpret in the meeting and help product manager negotiate price in the meeting.
· The right candidate must have excellent communication skills in English as well as possess a strong ability to negotiate with suppliers. Must be passionate about their ability to complete projects quickly and enjoy a fast paced environment.
