Your responsibilities
? Manage overall plant operations and processes including production, quality management,
engineering and supply chain functions.
? Ensure highest and consistent quality standards.
? Manage with the support of our local partner the financial, human resources and administrative
aspects of the site.
? Provide leadership to align, motivate and drive team to achieve overall goals.
? Responsible and accountable for all manufacturing and related costs and its effect on bottom
line.
? Develop personnel and financial budget in consultation with the headquarter in Switzerland.
? Develop and implement KPIs to improve performance of operations. Ensure continuous
improvement at all level for improved deliveries and manufacturing cost reduction.
? Continuously monitor and grow operation capability and capacity to meet growing business
and product offerings, including acquisition of new equipment, make or buy decisions of
operational steps/processes.
? Develop an organization that delivers and secures a strong mid- and long-term future.
? Report regularly to the headquarters located in Switzerland.
? Manage staffing levels and human resources in the plant, training, developing, coaching,
mentoring and performance management.
Your profile
? At least 8 years of professional business background.
? At least 5 years of proven of industrial background, preferably in metal processing and/or
plastic injection industries and/or assembly, with preferred focus on production and quality
management.
? Preferably industrial background with production of electro-mechanic products.
? Demonstrated leadership in turnaround and growth environments.
? Demonstrable history of delivery efficiency and quality improvement.
? Ability to quickly learn, quickly adapt to changing conditions and willing to push envelop and
take calculated risks to deliver results.
? Collaborative, yet assertive, management style.
? Academic background in engineering on master level completed by an economical education
or respective professional experience.
? Excellent intercultural communication skills. Native Mandarin speaking, fluent in written and
spoken English.
? Analytical skills with a very high level of goal orientation. High level of organizational skills
? Able to effectively, clearly and concisely present information and respond to questions from
management and internal customers.
? Excellent computer skills, in-depth ERP understanding and passion for using technology to
improve, eliminate non value added activities and drive simplicity in manufacturing, information
and decision making processes.
? Demonstrated ability to be an effective manager in human resource deployment, to include
recruitment / hiring, employee relations, development, performance management and
progressive discipline.
