Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading Applications Support Team in Store Systems to: 1.) provide tier two applications support in Home Office, Regional Offices, JV Offices, DCs and Stores; 2.) manage service level agreement; 3.) perform quality assurance and release management based on relevant policies and procedures; 4.) support new stores and DCs setup and system readiness.
Develops and implements department strategies by identifying current and future trends; aligning immediate department needs with long-term company vision; communicating strategies to senior leadership; and balancing Customer needs with company business and/or technology objectives.
Ensures application and infrastructure architectural solutions are stable, secure, and compliant with company standards and practices by requiring that project implementation follows the software development methodology; identifying and communicating appropriate criteria to associates; reviewing solutions; and verifying that solutions support company business operations.
Ensures business and technology solutions are aligned, secure, and compliant with corporate strategies by requiring that project implementation follows the software development methodology; identifying and communicating appropriate criteria to teams; and reviewing solutions.
Strengthens department leadership by directing department and corporate meetings; communicating to managers the importance of ensuring consistency in quality, training, and overall management of the department; and promoting and ensuring compliance with corporate diversity initiatives.
Oversees contractor and supplier process by identifying and interviewing candidates; bidding projects (for example, issuing requests for proposals, reviewing bids); selecting contractors; and managing and monitoring contractors to ensure work meets agreed-to terms and conditions.
Develops and manages budget in area of responsibility by estimating future resource needs (for example, hardware, software, system growth, new programs, staff); addressing over- and under-allocations; and considering financial resources when making decisions.
Manages invoicing and payments by reviewing and approving invoices after confirming work meets standards and services are received; developing and maintaining departmental budgets; tracking payroll costs, supply and equipment ordering, expenses, and capital purchases; and reviewing invoice information.
Provides overall direction for Information Services Division (ISD) by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer-focused environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
