Job Requirements
?5+ years of experience Administering and Managing Windows / Unix environments, storage platforms (e.g. Netbackup, Unity, VNX), physical and virtual machine deployments, decommissioning systems, migrations, troubleshooting server and infrastructure related issues internally and with customer machines. RHSA / RHCE certifications preferred.
?Strong understanding of server role architecture, with knowledge of maintaining high availability and fault tolerant configurations
?Scripting experience with various programming languages, automating daily functions and tasks (e.g. PowerShell and/or Bash) - Preferred
?Fundamental knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN connectivity, TCP/IP, configuring network parameters on physical and virtual instances
?Excellent verbal / written English communication skills, providing emphasis and constructive feedback as it pertains to team productivity
?Proven record of ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team environment, and able to handle multiple work streams at a time
Roles / Responsibilities
?Install, configure, and maintain physical/virtual servers, and storage platforms
?Plan, design, implement and monitor large scale projects, while collaborating with team members and vendors in following IT best practices
?Manage and foster relationships with team members, customers and vendors alike
?Monitor large scale server farm across data centers, identifying discrepancies and taking a proactive approach to maintain system stability and uptime
