PDA (Portal and Data Analytics) team is responsible for designing and building Cisco collaboration product data analytics platform. Meanwhile, based on various requirements from customer, product management, executive and engineering teams, we make usage data, quality data and operation data analytics to drive business by data science.
Position responsibilities:
?Translating business and technical requirements into detailed design
?Develop scalable and high-performance web application for portal and data visualization
?Build reusable code and libraries
?Develop automated test including UT and function test
?Collaborate with team members and stakeholders well
Requirements:
Meet or be high potential for the below requirements
?Common requirements
oMaster degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, etc.
oIntense interest in web or microservice development
oGood written and verbal English communication skills
?Technical requirements
oMaster of web mockup, including HTML5, CSS3
oMaster of front-end JavaScript and frameworks, including jQuery, AngularJS, BackboneJS, etc.
oExperience in cross-browser compatibility programming
oMaster of back-end Java/J2EE and framework, such as, Spring, Hibernate/iBatis, etc.
oExperience in Micro-service architecture, design and coding
oExperience in RDB and NoSQL DB, such as, MySQL, Cassandra, etc
oBe familiar with Web server and application server, such as, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, etc.
oBe familiar with code versioning tools, such as Git.
oGood understanding of AWS Cloud
oGood understanding of SEO principles
oUnderstanding of basic big data concept, such as, Hadoop, MapReduce, etc.
