Achieve project’s ives within timeline, cost and quality/performance constraints imposed by the sponsor, and delivery to customer based on their requirements and raise invoices for work rendered.
Responsibilities:
Customer Management:
· Actively gathers information on the customer and the customers requirements/targets
· Involves the customer in decision-making processes and provides regular information on project progress
· Identifies cross-Group business opportunities
· Creates additional business opportunities out of the ongoing project
Risk Management:
· Throughout project life cycle, identifies and assesses all risk factors utilizing available divisional checklists (risk analysis)
· Devises suitable strategies for risk mitigation (elimination, reduction)
· Identifies and minimizes non-conformance costs
· Ensures risk monitoring in all project phases
· Throughout project life cycle identifies, assesses, and implements all opportunities for improving results
· Negotiates with stakeholders on Change Requests and incorporates them into contracts
· Assesses risks in terms of effects on the Division, defines measures/ to be taken and ensures early escalation
Finance Management:
· Leads the project within the defined time, budget and quality work to the satisf of the customer, ensuring business success and compliance with corporate governance
· Optimizes project profitability
· Has Profit & Loss responsibility for the project, where applicable as defined in the approved Project Agreement
· Performs regular cost controls
· Initiates invoicing according to project progress
· Develops and implements controlling measures
· Takes account of strategic viewpoints and target costing
Project planning & Controlling, Completion
· Handles all planning elements and milestone attainments according to project categorization
· Defines procedures and requirements concerning quality management (audits, acceptance checks) according to Q gate system
· Ongoing monitoring of project status, taking into account corporate governance, early identification of discrepancies and initiating targeted measures/
· Holds regular project status meetings and organizes acceptance of milestone attainment prepares necessary documents (e.g. concurrent costing)
· Manages acceptance of delivery units and services, performing quality controls
· Organizes customer acceptance tests and final project handover to contract partner(s)
Leadership & Communication
· Ensures targeted and full communication within the project team and with stakeholders (if applicable on international basis)
· Deploys staff in a focussed manner and delegates defined responsibilities and authority. Where applicable agrees targets
· Coaches and controls the team/individual members of staff
· Where applicable, at the end of the project, holds feedback sessions with each directly assigned member of staff, in consultation with his/her manager
· Seeks active feedback (e.g. from members of staff, managers, customers)
· Motivates the project team
Network
· Communicates on a cross-Group/Region level with internal contacts on opportunities for doing further business
Knowledge Management
· Seeks and actively utilizes sources of information, knowledge and experience, with a view to applying them project-specifically and entrepreneurially
· Analyzes information, knowledge and experience, and maintains accessible project records
· Where applicable conducts a project closure meeting and a Lessons Learned Workshop
· Seizes opportunities to learn from others and to exchange experience
· Coaches new project managers/team members according to requirements, as specified by superior
Requirement:
Excellent English and Mandarin Knowledge, both written and spoken
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or its Equivalent
Tertiary level education, with 3 years PM experience in managing multiple projects parallelActive member of AIPM or PMI, respective certificationAble to deal effectively with all levels of management (include upper and executive management)
Extensive and experience in Data Centre operationsGood knowledge of project management processKnowledge of IT Infrastructure, IT service (ITIL), IT outsourcing, SAP Basis, related to project management to include financial project controlling, purchase order and delivery management, etc.
In-depth knowledge of project methods and project management tools
Knowledge of group specific industry accounting practices, for examples billings and payments, cost management and commercial accountingKnowledge in managing risks and opportunities in the context of group projects.
Including Identification & uation of risks and opportunities and risk mitigationKnowledge of group specific industry standard terms and conditions of contract and contract management practices i.e. Deviation management (Claim & Change Orders)
