The ive of this position is to lead business development for Thermo Fisher China CAD business and support capturing new business opportunities in China ( focus on new markets, new applications and new products) This role will guide identification, inspire the out-of-box thinking culture and drive key initiatives to success.
?Execute our strategy plan to develop new market, new application and new product for target segmentation – Environmental Air
?Stimulate the out-of-box thinking growth culture cross BUs. Lead the best practice sharing and replicating successful business development model from one BU to another.
?Drive business development projects pipeline, leveraging OEM, ODM, private labeling, system integration or any other creative new model to create additional revenue growth for Thermo Fisher China
?Ensure that China region Voice Of Customer are communicated to the relevant Business Units as well as China CIC, supporting China for China projects.
?Interface with sales, marketing, application and R&D team to ensure successful resolution of technical and customer support issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
?Identification, management and communication of a roadmap of business development projects that support the utilization and growth of key market segmentations by the broad Thermo Fisher product portfolio.
?Build up a Business Development Management process for key market segmentations, fill product gap to meet customer new needs.
?Drive the key business development projects and overlook the progress to ensure the key projects in good shape, on track and deliver the target additional revenue growth.
?Support commercialization efforts of new product introductions in China that have a strong emerging market application by helping beta testing in China, capturing the feedback, speeding up the response and capturing the adjacent new applications.
?Interface with external knowledge leaders to maximize the understanding of applications, opportunities and demands for current and future technologies, products and application trend within the Thermo Fisher China prioritized segmentations.
?Support In-China-For-China innovation projects that are focused on emerging market opportunities with an in-country presence essentially to bridge the market needs and voice of customer to CIC
?Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing insights, leadership and strategic direction internally and externally. Scope covering both centralized and de-centralized database efforts, casework, products, competitors, customer needs and market dynamics.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
?Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Scientific / Engineering disciplines
?Experience: Engineering & Product Design Experience, Business Development
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
?5-10 years experience business development / applications / product development arenas
?Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required
?Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate end user unmet needs and requirements for strategic and/or complex products, soliciting and integrating Voice of Customer and User Centered Innovation inputs
