Position Summary:
The EHS Engineer is primarily responsible for the overall EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) compliance to ISO14001 and meets all the regulatory requirement on EHS, EHS daily management operation.
Key Responsibilities:
?Responsible for the EHS management system operation and maintenance
?Ensure company practice to meet local government’s requirement on safety, health & environment
?Develop and implement EHS SOPs, follow up the implementation of EHS policy, rules and standards.
?Prepare for the application and collect the EHS permitting /license from the local government as operation required
?Organize EHS Committee at the local operation site and follow up with the plans
?Improve employee EHS awareness, behavior by developing annual EHS training plan based on Learning and analyzing EHS training needs
?Follow up the plan after corporate and local authority audit
?Responsible for EHS incident and accident investigation and report,track related corrective s.
?Conduct Regularly EHS self-inspection , and follow up the corrective with other departments
?Supervise external contractor’s work, ensure the work meets the proper engineering standard and EHS requirements
?Responsible for the management of special equipment, certification of special operators
?Responsible for all EHS related matters in the new projects
?Hazardous waste management
?Conduct occupational health check and industrial hygiene monitoring plan regularly
?Other assigned works by line manager
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
?University degree, major in Engineering, Chemistry and safety engineer preferred
?Minimum 5 years of EHS and Engineering working experience
?Sound Knowledge of EHS program
?Good command of English skills
?Honest, Precise, Proactive, logic and well organized constructive thinking
?Good communication skills, able to integrate with the other teams
